A special Mass to mark the closure of the Pauline Year was celebrated in St Mary’s Cathedral, Sydney, Australia, on Sunday 28 June.

Cardinal George Pell, the Archbishop of Sydney, was the principal celebrant of the Mass, which was organized by the Pauline Family. Five priests of the Society of St Paul concelebrated with the Cardinal, together with Salesian priest and St Pauls’ author, Fr Francis J Moloney. The Scripture readings and prayers of the faithful were read by members of the Pauline family, who also presented the gifts.
