In the homily that followed, Fr. Andrew Pudussery linked the Australian foundation with the global charismatic story of Fr. James Alberione as he explained to the lay collaborators and Pauline Family the growth and development of the apostolate and mission that were first started by the Italian missionaries in the 1950s, 60s, 70s; then, followed by missionaries from India and the Philippines in the 80s and 90s, and other confreres from Argentina and Brazil in 2000s, and with few homegrown Australians --- all shows the universality of our mission.
