On 25 January 2009 the Pauline Family (SSP, FSP, PDDM, IMSA and Pauline Cooperators) organised a Eucharistic Celebration in the Church of St. Ignatius in Tokyo on the occasion of the Conversion of St Paul. Around 450 people including many religious and lay faithful joined members of the Pauline Family and particiapated in the celebration presided by Archbishop Peter Oakada Takeo, Archbishop of Tokyo. Also present was the Apostolic Nunzio to Japan, Archbishop Alberto Bottaili de Castello. In his homily Archbishop Peter posted the interogative what would St Paul do if were alive in Tokyo today? He encouraged everyone on the importance of living in Christ as St Paul did.
