Main speaker and celebrant for the Eucharistic Celebration was Bishop Rolando Tria Tirona, DD, Chairman of the Episcopal Commission on Youth and the Bishop of Prelature of Infanta, Quezon Province.  Fr. Dominador Guzman, SSP, overall coordinator of the event, gave the homily and six other SSP priests concelebrated.

In his talk, Bishop Tirona spoke on “The Leadership of Paul, Impelled by the Love of Christ.”  Using the acronym IPOD (a modern gadget used by the youth), he urged young people to do everything for the love of Christ and deepen their relationship with him through:  I – Interiority and Intimacy (love);  P – Presence and Perfection;  O - Openness and Offering (generosity); and D – Divine and Duty (doing).

Overall, the event was a joyful and enriching experience for the youth who were introduced to the person and mission of St. Paul in a celebration of songs and dances, prayer and reflection, faith sharing and friendship.  Indeed, with their energy, creativity and passion, the young people of today can truly be good and dynamic leaders and agents of change.  They are the hope of the Church and of the country.
