In his homily, Bishop Njaralakatt said, “the Society of St Paul is a great gift to the Church. It came to be born to meet the needs of the Church and society through the right use of media to make the Gospel known. The Society of St Paul should always remain faithful to Paul the apostle who was the greatest missionary of the Church and all the members of the Congregation should, reading the signs of the time, commit themselves to become vibrant agents of the Gospel”. The bishop also reminded the Paulines that they, like Paul, should become zealous missionaries and stay focused in carrying out the mission of Christ. He brought to the attention of the newly ordained that he is called, anointed and consecrated by God to serve his people and the Church.

The ordination, a moving and prayerful ceremony, was attended by Fr Varghese Gnalian, Fr Johnson Vattakuunel, many other Paulines and well-wishers and the faithful of St Sebastian’s Church, Adikolly. It is our prayer that Fr. Anish remains a faithful disciple of Jesus the Divine Master and be enabled to become a true Pauline committed to spread the Gospel of Christ through the means of communication.
