On Sunday, 2 March, at 10 pm, in Holy Family Hospital, Mumbai, the Master called his disciple Br Alex Almeida, ssp to his eternal reward BR ALEX ALMEIDA, 71 years, 49 of Pauline life, 44 of religious profession.
Br Alex Almeida was born on 9 September 1942 at Manikpur, in the diocese of Vasai, Maharashtra, India. After completing his high school studies in his home town, he joined the Society of St Paul in Mumbai on 7 July 1964 where he completed his Aspirancy and Postulancy. He made his Novitiate in Allahabad which was followed by his first profession on 16 July 1969. After spending his Juniorate in the community of Mumbai, Br Alex made his Perpetual Profession in the same community on 20 August 1974.
