At 6 p.m. yesterday (local time), 22 June 2012, the Divine Master has called to his eternal reward our brother Priest
FR. DANILO ALBERTO REGAZZO, 69 years, 58 of Pauline life, 48 of religious profession, 42 of priesthood.


Fr. Danilo was born in Noventa Vicentina (Vicenza) on 1 October 1942 and made his entrance in the Congregation while still very young on 24 September 1953 in the house of
Vicenza. After having finished his novitiate in the house of Ostia (1961-1963), he made here his first religious profession, assuming on that circumstance the professional name of Alberto. He continued his theological formation in the house of Rome, where he also made
his perpetual profession on 8 September 1967 and received the presbyteral ordination from Mons. Ettore Cunial on 30 June 1969.

Il nostro nemico numero uno è l’orgoglio, la superbia che ci allontana le grazie di Dio e ci allontana anche gli uomini. L’umile è gradito a Dio, l’umile piace anche agli uomini. E soprattutto l’umile va dal mattino alla sera conquistando grazie (APD56, 57).

Nuestro enemigo número uno es el orgullo, la arrogancia que nos aleja de las gracias de Dios y nos aleja también de los hombres. El humilde agrada a Dios, el humilde agrada también a los hombres. Y sobre todo, el humilde va de la mañana a la noche consiguiendo gracias (APD56, 57).
