The Society of St. Paul joined the first-ever National Vocation Jamboree of the Philippines which was hosted by the Diocese of Imus on April 27, 2024. The Jamboree, held at the Rogationist College in Silang, Cavite, was participated by those in formation nationwide, both religious and diocesan, with more than 6,000 youth attendees. The whole day event commenced with the “Karakol,” the Philippine tradition of street dancing with patron saints, followed by a short youth jam and showcasing of various vocation promotion booths.

The Eucharistic celebration in the morning was presided by the Apostolic Nuncio, Most Rev. Charles J. Brown. He identified signs of being called to a religious vocation: “If you feel attraction to the holy things, have an absolute thirst for something bigger, and an awareness of God's love, then you might be hearing the “vox” of the Good Shepherd."

Fr. Juvelan Paul Samia, SDB, and Dr. Ryan Capitulo shared the beauty of answering God's call to a life single blessedness. In turn, Raffy Tima and Maris Umali, journalists couple, shared the beauty of answering God’s to married life.

The jamboree ended with fireworks display after the oath-taking of the new set of officers of the National Vocation Directors. The Second National Vocation Jamboree will be hosted by the Archdiocese of Cebu in 2026.
