Rev. Jereus Bangcaya, originally from the Philippine-Macau Province, who now belongs to India-Great Britain-Ireland Province and a member of the London community, was ordained in his home country, on 23 April 2022 at the Sanctuary of St Paul in Makati City by Most Rev Sofronio A. Bancud, Bishop of Cabanatuan. The ceremony was graced by a large member of Priests and Brothers from the Philippines, Pauline sisters, co-operators, friends and well-wishers. Fr Joshy Thumbakkatt, Superior of London community was present at the occasion representing the Indian Paulines.
The newly ordained priest, Fr Jereus Bangcaya, celebrated his First Holy Eucharist on the following day in our parish, Our Lady of Sorrows Church in nearby Pasay City in the presence of his family members, relatives, fellow Paulines, co-operators, benefactors and a large number of parishioners.
The members of the Province congratulate Fr Jereus Bangcaya on this joyful occasion and wish him many more years of fruitful and effective Pauline ministry at the service of the people of God.
