February 27, 2022, was a day of rejoicing and thanksgiving for the community of Guwahati. The community celebrated the Silver Jubilee of Fr Sebastian’s Priestly ordination. The Eucharistic Celebration began at 6.00 pm. The Celebrant of the day, Fr Sebastian presided over the thanksgiving Eucharistic celebration along with Fr Joby, the parish priest of the Cathedral and other priests in the presence of the Pauline family and many well-wishers. The melodious singing led by the aspirants in the community with full accompaniment added flavour to the celebration. After the Mass the celebrant of the day Fr Sebastian was felicitated by Fr Saji Antony, the superior of the community, along with the cutting of the Jubilee Cake. The short and meaningful celebration was concluded with a delicious fellowship meal. Men and women religious from the neighbouring communities added colour and enthusiasm to the simple but meaningful celebration. There were over 60 people for the celebration besides our community members.
