On October 7, 2021, Cleric Edward Dantis made his solemn perpetual profession of the religious vows at the Sanctuary of St. Paul the Apostle in Makati City, Philippines. Fr. Rollin Flores, Provincial Superior of the Philippines-Macau presided over the Eucharistic celebration. The rite was streamed online to enable family, relatives, and friends to join the celebration.

In his homily, Fr. Flores shared that “a lot of people are expert in social communications media but not all are called to be a Pauline." Cleric Edward has always been a media practitioner and is now called to the perpetual profession of religious vows. This “call” of the Lord is permanent and a gift to Cleric Edward for he is consecrated to Jesus, the Divine Master.

The General Superior, Fr. Valdir José de Castro, in his message highlighted the theme of invitation: “My grace is enough for you” (2 Cor 12:9). He exhorted Cleric Dantis to “trust entirely in Christ, when every action of ours revolves in his presence, then everything can happen, and he will give us the grace to move forward.”

Before the final blessing, Cleric Edward thanked the Provincial Superior and his Council, his formators, his family and all who were instrumental in his formation journey. He also thanked the Lord for the many lessons he experienced in life.

A simple dinner agape was served at the Alberione Hall to cap the event.
