Br Klansing Nongrum made his First Religious Profession on Wednesday 31 May 2017 at St Pauls Church, Bengaluru. During the Eucharistic Celebration presided over by Fr Devasia Puthiyaparambil, the Vicar Provincial, Fr George Kaitholil, the Novice Master, presented the candidate for the profession, and after ascertaining his good resolve with formal questions, he was admitted to the First Profession. During the homily, Fr. Devasia highlighted the meaning of Consecrated Life and explained a few necessary steps to be followed to live that life faithfully. 

After professing the vows, Br Klansing was presented the religious habit, copy of the Constitutions of the Society of St Paul and the Bible. Those present for the occasion were members of the community including all the Aspirants who came from various communities for the Aspirants’ Summer Meet, Sisters of the Daughters of St Paul and Pious Disciples of the Divine Master, and representatives from the neighboring Religious Institutes. Fr Anish Antony, the newly appointed Novice Master played the role of the Master of Ceremony. Fr Varghese Gnalian, the Superior of the community, gave leadership to the entire programmes of this auspicious day.

Before the festal lunch, Br Klansing was felicitated with the presentation of bouquet and by cutting the cake in the community dining hall. The occasion used also for the release of Navjyothi, the literary work of the Aspirants of the Society of St Paul in India.

We congratulate Br Klansing for taking this courageous step of consecrating himself to God totally. We pray for God’s blessings upon him that he may persevere in his vocation and the new life that he began today may be lived meaningfully and faithfully.
