On May 31, the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, four Postulants were formally admitted to the Novitiate Program of the Society of Saint Paul. They are Ian Gabriel C. Ceblano (City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan), Yves E. Dulce (Amadeo, Cavite), Anthony John D. Javier (Bacoor City, Cavite), and Mike Nathanael Manalo (General Luna, Quezon).

In a simple but meaningful rite after Evening Prayer presided by Fr. Jose S. Aripio, SSP, Provincial Superior, these four young men petitioned, were confirmed, were oriented on the nature of religious life and the characteristics of the Institute, and were asked to sign their admission documents. Present at the Rite of Initiation to the Novitiate were Fr. Joel S. Baguna, SSP, the newly-appointed Novice Master, the outgoing Novices, and members of the Pampanga Communities of the Society of Saint Paul and the Pious Disciples of the Divine Master. Acting as witnesses were Fr. Antonio D. Atole, SSP, Local Superior, and Fr. Romeo S. Hitosis, SSP. A simple fellowship meal followed.

In preparation for their entrance to the Novitiate, the four had an orientation from May 25 – 28, 2016 at Saint Paul Seminary, Silang, Cavite. The orientation was facilitated by Br. Dennis Figuerres, SSP, then Assistant Master of Juniors and now Formator of Adult Vocations.
