St Pauls Book Centre NigeriaST PAUL BOOK & MEDIA CENTRE, Port Harcourt, Nigeria is now a reality. After much struggles and hard work, on Sunday July 06, 2014, after a solemn Holy Mass at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Chaplaincy, CIWA, Very Rev Msgr (Dr) Pius Kii, the delegate of His Lordship Most Rev Dr Camillus Archibong Etokudoh, Bishop of Port Harcourt, Very Rev Monroy Ruiz Ciro Antonio and very Rev Thadathil Blaise, General Councillors and Delegates of Very Rev Fr Silvio Sassi, Superior General, SSP, inaugurated ST PAUL BOOK & MEDIA CENTRE and Very Rev Fr Michael Raj, Provincial Superior, India-Nigeria-UK-Ireland Province, blessed the Centre in the presence of a large gathering of Priests, Religious and Laity. After the blessing, Msgr Kii, declared St Paul Book & Media Centre, Port Harcourt open and hoped that it will become a Centre that disseminates wholesome literature to help the People of God to grow in their faith.

Rev Fr Michael Raj, the Provincial Superior, in his message assured the People gathered for the function that the new Centre will help them to know and experience Jesus the Divine Master and his gospel better. He also recognized the unique and unforgettable role played by the Former (late) Rector of CIWA Very Rev Msgr Felix A. Adeigbo. He recalled with gratitude all that he did for us Paulines in getting us to the CIWA. Rev Fr Siji, Superior, Enugu-Port Harcourt, in his message, reiterated the Society of St Paul's commitment to serve the Church with renewed vigour and zeal. He thanked all the Staff and students of CIWA for standing by us in the making of the Centre and also hoped that their support and collaboration will continue to be there with us to further our apostolate here in the diocese of Port Harcourt and its neighbouring places.

St Paul Book and media Centre, Port Harcourt, with its 6500 square feet display area, is one of the largest Book Centres of our Province and is a well furnished state-of-art facility that offers a wide range of books and Religious articles procured from different publishers and manufactures from Asia, Europe and America. It also has a Chapel and a conference room. We bow before Jesus our Divine Master for this centenary gift to us his disciples.

Present on the occasion were almost all the members of the Society of St Paul, Nigeria and Rev Sr Carmel from Daughters of St Paul. The ceremony was concluded with a fellowship meal in our Community of Port Harcourt.
