A large and excited crowd welcomed on Saturday afternoon the remains of Blessed Timothy Giaccardo in his return to the city of his birth. The urn was carried on men's shoulders in procession to the Church of Saint Bernard, where the Bishop of Alba James Lanzetti presided in a solemn Eucharistic Celebration together with the Superior General of the Society of St. Paul Fr. Silvio Sassi.

In the course of the day, the exposition "A Saint has passed among us", was inaugurated, dedicated to the Blessed and was set on the ground floor of "Casa Balocco". In the evening, in the theater of the kindergarten, the first of the two performances arranged by the Parish Priest Fr. Angelo Carosso and performed by young people of the city was shown.

During the month in which the remains of the Blessed will be in Narzole many other parallel events will take place, starting with the conferences which will touch on the major themes of the Pauline mission. These are the following events: Thursday, April 10 ("The joy of the Gospel in the Apostle Paul"); Wednesday, April 23 ("Families and new media") and Friday, May 2 (New media and communication of the Gospel "), all starting at 21:00. Special celebrations are planned for Sunday, April 20, when the solemn Easter Mass of 8:00 will be broadcast live by Radio Maria, and for Monday, April 21 at 11:00 will be officiated the enthronement of the icon of Jesus Divine Master.

Two more appointments not to be missed will be the musical "The prodigal son" prepared by the Cenacle community of Sr. Elvira which will be shown on Saturday, April 26 at 21:00 and the awarding ceremony of the winners of the literary-artistic competition dedicated to the Blessed and participated by the young people of the city which will be held on Sunday, April 27 at 15:00. Up for grabs are awards related to the mission of the Pauline Family, like computer and magazine subscriptions.

The remains of Blessed Timothy Giaccardo will resume its journey to Alba, its new home of permanence, Saturday, May 3. The urn will make a stop at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Flowers of Bra, where at 17:30 a solemn Eucharistic Celebration presided by Cardinal Severino Poletto is being scheduled. The next day the urn will leave for Villa Loreto in Sanfrè, to be received by the Pious Disciples of the Divine Master. In the afternoon of May 5, the remains will arrive finally at the Church of St. Paul, where it will be placed underneath the altar of the Chapel of the Sacred Heart.
