At 00:45 A.M. (local time) today, 29 December 2012, at the Community of Mumbai, our brother left for the home of the Father BR. VINCENT ANDREW (CROSS) PUTHUKADAN, 69 years, 48 years a Pauline, 43 years of religious profession.

 

Coming from Trichur (Kerala, South India), he was born on 22 August 1943, first among the four children of Antony and Mary Puthukadan. Vincent entered the Society of St. Paul as a young man of twenty in the house of Mumbai on 17 June 1964. He had two brothers and a sister, Sr. Veena, a religious
in the Congregation of the Daughters of the Cross.

Sempre abbiam da santificar la mente, quindi istruirsi, nell’apostolato. E poi santificare il cuore, quindi amare l’apostolato per amore di Gesù. E poi santificare la volontà, quindi compiere il nostro apostolato, impiegando le forze che abbiamo (APD56, 236).

Siempre tenemos que santificar la mente, por lo tanto, instruirse, en el apostolado. Y después santificar el corazón, por tanto, amar el apostolado por amor a Jesús. Y luego santificar la voluntad, por tanto, realizar nuestro apostolado, con las fuerzas que tenemos (APD56, 236).

We always must sanctify the mind, therefore instruct ourselves, in the apostolate. And then sanctify the heart, then love the apostolate out of love for Jesus. And then sanctify the will, then carry out our apostolate, using the strength we have (APD56, 236).
