Among those present were the newly installed Archbishop of Manila, Most Rev. Luis Antonio Tagle, DD, many Pauline priests and brothers and members of the Pauline family and collaborators and supporters including Asia, Inc., Unionbank, SM Supermalls, Philippine Daily Inquirer, and Asia Pacific College. In his brief talk, the Archbishop lauded the Society of St. Paul for this initiative and confirmed the relevance of such a project geared toward today’s youth.
The St. Paul National Bible Quiz 2012 will hold elimination rounds in 15 key locations across the Philippines. They are divided into the seven regions of Southern Luzon, Central Luzon, Northern Luzon, National Capital Region, Central Visayas/Northern Mindanao, Western Visayas, and Central Mindanao. Regional winners will face off for the National Championship on September 15, 2012, as part of the Manila International Book Fair.
