The The President (Fr. Suzuki) proposed two actuaries (Fr. Tomura Osamu and Fr. Yamauchi Kenji). Both accepted the role. Election of the Chapter officials followed: Br. Tokuda Takahito was elected as Secretary Br. Kojima Jiro as moderator and Fr. Akabae Kenichi as writer of information. Chapter members each reported on the current situation of the communities, committees (formation, spirituality, apostolate, human rights, pauline cooperators, and aggregated institutes, etc.) and provincial government. Subjects for discussion were then chosen for the Chapter which will conclude on the 4th of November.
On the 1st of November, second day of the Chapter, a discussion was made on pastoral vocation promotion, formation and the apostolate. Practical aims were made regarding the discussions.
