The Mass began with a solemn procession led by the Knights of Columbus, in their ceremonial headgear and colorful mantles, and representatives from several ethnic communities also wearing their traditional dresses. The imposing 14-feet statue of St. Paul was surrounded by the national flags of over fifteen countries of the world to show the universality of Paul’s message and his appeal. In his homily Bishop Walsh reminded the people of the importance of Paul and his message in today’s world.  An informal get-together arranged on the lawn of the Society of St. Paul concluded the celebration with the students from Moore Catholic High School playing music that enhanced the festivities.
