Argentina-Chile-Paraguay: Apostolic-fraternal meeting brings together members of the Society of St Paul of the Argentina-Chile-Paraguay Region
Seeking to return to fraternity, personal and community relationships, and also to apostolic commitment, the members of the Society of Saint Paul of the Argentina-Chile-Paraguay Region met in the city of Buenos Aires in order to participate in a significant apostolic-fraternal meeting, aimed at strengthening community ties and reflecting on the current challenges of the evangelizing mission.
Through spaces for reflection and joint work, on May 27 to 29, as Paulines, through dialogue and discernment we returned to our essence as human beings and as brothers. About our apostolic responsibilities and our compassionate communication in our apostolic reality, with the sole purpose of reaching a concrete plan of community responsibility in relationships to live the Pauline mission with quality.
Taking into account the above, the meeting became an opportunity to deepen the charisma, renewing the conviction of announcing the Gospel with the means and languages of our time and from environments and communities healthy in mind and body. The importance of strengthening communication between the communities of the Region was also highlighted, promoting greater collaboration in apostolic projects. While valuing the existing exchange of experiences and good practices that enrich the evangelizing work developed in each of the Pauline presences in the three countries.
Last, but not least, moments of community prayer and Eucharistic celebration occupied a central place, allowing us to renew the encounter with Christ the Master, Way, Truth and Life, source of all mission and apostolic service.
At the end of the meeting and also at other times, some confreres expressed their gratitude for the shared space and expressed the desire to continue walking around the theme that brought us together: the apostolate and fraternal relationships.
