ST PAULS College and St Pauls Institute of Communication Education (SPICE), Bengaluru, celebrated their First Graduation and College Day on Saturday, 18th May 2019, at St Pauls campus. The celebrations started with an academic procession which was led by the dignitaries, namely, Professor Venkatesh Babu, Principal of Swami Vivekananda College, Fr. Prithvi Raj Philip, Former Director of SPICE, Fr Sebastian A, its Chairman, Fr. Thomas M J, its Director and Fr. Dr Plavendran, the Principal, with the graduating students following.

After the customary invocation song and lighting of the lamp, the Principal welcomed all the dignitaries, the invitees, the parents, the faculty and the graduates. Prof. Venkatesh Babu, the Chief Guest, expressed his joy and happiness at being present on this occasion and congratulated the graduating students and the achievers, and wished them good luck. The parents on their part expressed their gratitude to the faculty and the management for moulding their wards as professionals in the Institution.

A total of 13 students became the first ever batch to formally graduate from ST PAULS COLLEGE and SPICE. Mr Jenin and Mr Cyril spoke on behalf of ST PAULS COLLEGE and SPICE respectively. Fr Prithvi Raj shared his experiences at the initial stages and the challenges faced by the new college. Ms Laya Johnson and Mr Prathish D’souza together thanked the management, the staff and the students for their wholehearted support to make the event so special. Fr Thomas M J thanked everyone who supported and contributed to the growth of the college and those who organized the event so meticulously.

All the graduating students and the achievers were given mementos as a token of appreciation which was followed by variety cultural programmes. It was a fun-filled and memorable evening, which will be remembered and cherished forever.
