For their annual “Big Day” reunion, the Juniors of the Pauline Family travelled to Philip’s Sanctuary in Antipolo, Rizal. The two-day event (April 30-May 1) was the time to “unwind” and rekindle the Pauline spirit that binds them together.

Present were 16 SSP, 4 FSP, 7 PDDM, and 8 ISF. They were joined by their formators / in-charge: Fr. Alan Gamutan SSP, Fr. Gil Alinsangan SSP, Bro. Dennis Figuerres SSP, Sr. Catherine Bacay FSP, and Sr. Nimfa Ebora PDDM.

The theme of the reunion was “Live and Share Christ, the Source and Goal of Communication. This was elucidated by the invited speaker Mr. Edwin Lopez who came with his team. Mr. Lopez is a faculty member of San Carlos Graduate School of Theology. His sharing about faith/conviction and perseverance, based from personal experience, was truly moving.

Philip’s Sanctuary is designed for team building exercises. Divided into two teams, the participants engaged in heavy sports like wall climbing, walking on logs, balsa race, and mud crawl. The older ones enjoyed watching and cheering. At the end the Ilaw Team prevailed over the Team Builders.
