At the age of 91, Fr. Gabriele Amorth, a Pauline priest and exorcist of the Diocese of Rome, died today in Rome 16 September at 7.50 PM (local time). For several weeks, he had suffered from lung problems and was in the last weeks lovingly assisted by his confreres and by medical personnel.

Come Gesù ha dato la sua vita per noi, così noi dobbiamo spendere la nostra per lui. La doniamo ogni giorno un po’; oggi la diamo per oggi, tutto nel servizio di Dio, tutto per amore di Gesù; le nostre forze, le forze che abbiamo oggi le consumiamo per Gesù, in opere sante (APD56, 222).
