29 February, 2016 was a day of joy and celebration for the India-Nigeria-Great Britain-Ireland Province of the Society of St Paul as jubilee bells rang for 4 members. Brs Anselm Thumbayil, Denis Kuzhikandathil and Pius Kochuparambil celebrated the Golden Jubilee of their Religious Profession and Fr Michael Raj, our Provincial Superior celebrated the Silver Jubilee of his Ordination to Priesthood. The Holy Eucharist was presided over by Fr Michael Raj and concelebrated by a large number of Pauline as well as other religious and diocesan Priests and participated by a large number of religious, relatives, friends, neighbours, well wishers and benefactors. Fr Devasia Puthiyaparambil, the Vicar Provincial in his homily highlighted the personal qualities and religious faithfulness of each of the jubilarians with examples from their life and established that their story was a true story of the divine providence.

A short but elegant and beautiful felicitation programme followed immediately after the Holy Mass. The entire Pauline family actively participated in the felicitation programme with well coordinated dances and songs and felicitated the Jubilarians. The friends and relatives of the Jubilarians who came from different places also warmly felicitated the jubilarians. Replying to the gesture of love and appreciation, on behalf of the jubilarians, a jubilant Fr Michael Raj expressed his gratitude to all who helped them to be what they are today. In a very special way he remembered all the superiors and masters who inspired him and helped him grow in the true Pauline spirit with fraternal corrections and guidance. In every sense it was a day to remember for the jubilarians and for all the members of the Pauline family.
