Priestly ordinations - IndiaThe dawn of New Year 2015 witnessed the solemn ordination ceremonies and First Masses of our Deacons David Berkmans, Jobin Joseph, and Shinto Devasia. Deacons Shinto and Jobin were raised to the order of priesthood by His Grace Mar George Valiyamattam, Archbishop emerritus of Tellichery on 2 & 3 January 2015 respectively, and Deacon David Berkmans on 9 January 2015 by His Excellency Bishop Susai Manikkam, Bishop of Sivagangai.

In their homily both Mar George and Bishop Susai Manikkam congratulated the newly ordained for daring to be Pauline priests in these challenging times. They also reminded the faithful about the need to pray fervently for priests and for more vocations to serve in the vineyard of the Lord. Rev.
