Don Egidio SpagnoliITA - ESP - ENG

Alle 6:00 (ora locale) di questa mattina, all’ospedale “Regina Apostolorum” di Albano Laziale, è tornato al Padre il nostro fratello Sacerdote, DON EGIDIO STEFANO SPAGNOLI, 88 anni di età, 77 di vita paolina, 71 di professione religiosa, 64 di sacerdozio.

Don Egidio è nato a Paganico (Rieti, Italia) il 29 marzo 1925 e ha varcato la soglia della Società San Paolo giovanissimo, nella comunità di Roma, il 28 settembre 1936. Dopo aver compiuto il noviziato ad Alba (1941-1942), ha emesso la prima professione religiosa l’8 settembre 1942. Ha emesso la professione perpetua a Roma, il 15 settembre 1946. Il 10 giugno 1949 è stato ordinato sacerdote da mons. Giovanni Urbani.

O Gesù, Maestro divino, ringrazio e benedico il tuo cuore amantissimo per l’istituzione del sacerdozio... Manda buoni operai alla tua messe, o Gesù. Siano i sacerdoti sale che purifica e preserva; siano la luce del mondo; siano la città posta sul monte; siano tutti fatti secondo il tuo cuore (PR 137).

Jesús, Maestro divino, te doy gracias y bendigo tu corazón lleno de amor por la institución del sacerdocio... Manda buenos obreros a tu mies, oh Jesús. Que todos los sacerdotes sean sal que purifica y preserva, luz del mundo; ciudad situada en lo alto; que todos estén modelados según tu corazón (PR 137).
