PhilippinesManila, Philippines. A day after the launching kick-off of the Triennium of the Foundation of the Society of Saint Paul and of the Pauline Charism, Ms. Grace Fernan, Chairperson of the Association of Pauline Cooperators (APC), Cagayan de Oro (CDO), watches the pilot episode of SAMBUHAY TV Mass in this Southern Philippines City over a free television network, NBN 4, a government owned television network that has a nationwide signal coverage. She watches presiding Auxiliary Bishop of Manila Broderick Pabillo, DD, challenge not only the Paulines who are in media apostolate but everyone present: To be holier in Christ because “the more holy we are, the more effective we will be".

Grace Fernan was just one of the many excited members of the Pauline Family who marked the 97th Foundation Day of the Society of Saint Paul (SSP) Philippines-Macau with a breakthrough in the communication apostolate as a television apostolate is formally launched. The homilist Rev. Fr. Dominador Guzman, Jr., SSP, emphasizing that Paulines “were born from the Eucharist” shared that this Sunday TV Mass aired in the afternoon becomes a provision (pabaon) for the sick, the physically and spiritually challenge and the seekers “on the way as they live for the rest of the week”. SAMBUHAY, (short for Samba, meaning Worship and Buhay, Life) TV Mass is a “week long and week after week” enlivening of the Word of God in the life of those who will let the TV mass enter into their homes,” he further added.

After the taping of the Eucharistic celebration, over 400 Pauline Family Members and guests shared a sumptuous dinner and the excitement of an Alberione Quiz sponsored by the Society of Saint Paul at the Don Luigi Zanoni Gym.
