 The Course on Formation on the Charism of the Pauline Family commenced its 12th year with the visit to the room of the Founder, Blessed James Alberione and inaugural Mass at the Crypt of the Queen of the Apostles in Rome on 30 September 2008. There are 29 members of the Pauline Family enrolled for the Charism Course 2008-2009 representing the countries of Italy, Brazil, Mexico, India, UK, Spain, USA, Korea, Malaysia, Madagascar, Philippines, Taiwan Congo, Macao, Colombia, Polonia, Vatican City, Argentina and Australia.
In her welcome to the participants, Sr. Antonieta Bruscato, FSP Superior General, highlighted the grace endowed by God on the journey and invited them to sincerely open their hearts to this charismatic gift. Fr. Juan Manuel Galaviz, SSP General Councilor, on his part underlined during his homily the task asked of each participant to concretely actualize and study the charism and its fonts: "God gives all the graces necessary but the fruits will always be only in proportion to the dedication one gives". The challenge, Fr. Galaviz says, is opening oneself and be enriched by the experience when one returns to his or her circumscription after the course and not, he prayed, the other way around.
